# Yzer vs ChantCode

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChantCode at every 4 days against Yzer's every 3 weeks. Yzer's advantage is ratings volume (80 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yzer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ChantCode sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChantCode holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yzer has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yzer ships an update every 3 weeks, ChantCode every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
