# Sol Flower vs PassPass App

The clearest difference is rating: Sol Flower at 4.7 against PassPass App's 4.0. Sol Flower also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). PassPass App's advantage is chart position (#171 vs unranked) and review sentiment (75% vs 65%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PassPass App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.00 per month. Sol Flower asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sol Flower holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sol Flower has 1.5K ratings behind it against 133, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Sol Flower's written reviews are positive against 75% of PassPass App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sol Flower ships an update every 2 weeks, PassPass App fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
