# LiveU Control+ vs Broadcast Hub

The clearest difference is update cadence: LiveU Control+ at every 2 months against Broadcast Hub's every 12 months. Broadcast Hub's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LiveU Control+ ships an update every 2 months, Broadcast Hub every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
