# IPTV Smarters Player vs Smarter Player +

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IPTV Smarters Player at none against Smarter Player +'s 5. IPTV Smarters Player also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 59) and review sentiment (8% vs 0%). Smarter Player +'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smarter Player + sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. IPTV Smarters Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smarter Player + holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters Player has 2.4K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of IPTV Smarters Player's written reviews are positive against 0% of Smarter Player +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPTV Smarters Player ships an update every 5 months, Smarter Player + every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
