# PetPage vs LootPaw

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LootPaw at 80% against PetPage's 33%. LootPaw also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). PetPage's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (6K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PetPage holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PetPage has 6K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of PetPage's written reviews are positive against 80% of LootPaw's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PetPage ships an update fortnightly, LootPaw every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
