# Checklist vs Checklist Ultra

The clearest difference is rating: Checklist Ultra at 5.0 against Checklist's 4.0. Checklist's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Checklist Ultra sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checklist Ultra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
