# GrowIt vs Project Pulse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Project Pulse at none against GrowIt's 11. Project Pulse also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). GrowIt's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GrowIt sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Project Pulse asks for nothing beyond the download.

Project Pulse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GrowIt has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GrowIt ships an update every 2 weeks, Project Pulse every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
