# BestTV vs HIKBOX

The clearest difference is price: HIKBOX at Free against BestTV's $4.99. HIKBOX also leads on iOS requirement (13 vs 17.0). BestTV's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 17%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). On rating, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

HIKBOX is free to download; BestTV costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HIKBOX holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of BestTV's written reviews are positive against 17% of HIKBOX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BestTV ships an update every 5 days, HIKBOX every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
