# 18m vs 老王VPN

The clearest difference is rating: 老王VPN at 4.4 against 18m's 3.0. 老王VPN also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (641 vs 2). 18m's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 18m sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. 老王VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

老王VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 老王VPN has 641 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 18m's written reviews are positive against 85% of 老王VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
