# StarSavior vs Luklar

The clearest difference is ratings volume: StarSavior at 778 against Luklar's 3. StarSavior also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Luklar's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StarSavior sells 47 one-off in-app purchases and Luklar sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StarSavior holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarSavior has 778 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of StarSavior's written reviews are positive against 67% of Luklar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
