# WeRIDE Micro vs YAV Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: WeRIDE Micro at free against YAV Connect's free with in-app purchases. WeRIDE Micro also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 67%). YAV Connect's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YAV Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 168 and 147 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of WeRIDE Micro's written reviews are positive against 67% of YAV Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WeRIDE Micro ships an update every 5 weeks, YAV Connect monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
