# WeRIDE Micro vs CoFare

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WeRIDE Micro at none against CoFare's 3. WeRIDE Micro also leads on ratings volume (168 vs 1). CoFare's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoFare sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. WeRIDE Micro asks for nothing beyond the download.

CoFare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeRIDE Micro has 168 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeRIDE Micro ships an update every 5 weeks, CoFare every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
