# Reto vs MODA

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Reto at none against MODA's 3. Reto also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). MODA's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MODA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Reto asks for nothing beyond the download.

MODA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reto has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 92% of Reto's written reviews are positive against 95% of MODA's.

Reto ships an update every 6 days, MODA every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
