# Temp Number vs Get SMS Code

The clearest difference is rating: Get SMS Code at 4.5 against Temp Number's 3.6. Get SMS Code also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 22). Temp Number's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and review sentiment (40% vs 20%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Get SMS Code sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Temp Number asks for nothing beyond the download.

Get SMS Code holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Get SMS Code has 2.8K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Temp Number's written reviews are positive against 20% of Get SMS Code's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
