# Goaly vs Chore Focus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Chore Focus at 55 against Goaly's 1. Goaly's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goaly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Chore Focus sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Goaly against 4.9 for Chore Focus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chore Focus has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Goaly ships an update every 5 days, Chore Focus every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
