# Alsies vs Myrtos

The clearest difference is rating: Myrtos at 5.0 against Alsies's 3.8. Alsies's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Myrtos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alsies has 48 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alsies ships an update fortnightly, Myrtos every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
