# Innertune vs Lucent

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lucent at none against Innertune's 10. Lucent also leads on ads (none vs shown). Innertune's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 2). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Innertune sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Lucent asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lucent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Innertune has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Innertune ships an update every 11 days, Lucent every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
