# Pathé Sénégal vs ATHAR

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pathé Sénégal at free against ATHAR's subscription. ATHAR's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pathé Sénégal ships an update every 5 weeks, ATHAR every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
