# Honeycomb Time vs NoteWatch

The clearest difference is rating: Honeycomb Time at 5.0 against NoteWatch's 4.5. Honeycomb Time also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). NoteWatch's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteWatch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Honeycomb Time asks for nothing beyond the download.

Honeycomb Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteWatch has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Honeycomb Time ships an update every 7 months, NoteWatch every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
