# Sobretium vs soberTracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: soberTracker at none against Sobretium's 3. Sobretium's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sobretium sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. soberTracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sobretium against 5.0 for soberTracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sobretium has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Sobretium ships an update weekly, soberTracker every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
