# Bots vs mChatAI

Bots and mChatAI both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of mChatAI's written reviews are positive against 43% of Bots's. Bots's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bots sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and mChatAI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mChatAI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bots has 1.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Bots's written reviews are positive against 100% of mChatAI's.

Bots ships an update every 5 days, mChatAI every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
