# Bots vs Chatbot Assistant

Bots and Chatbot Assistant both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Chatbot Assistant's written reviews are positive against 43% of Bots's. Chatbot Assistant also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Bots's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 154) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bots sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Chatbot Assistant sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Bots against 4.7 for Chatbot Assistant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bots has 1.3K ratings behind it against 154, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of Bots's written reviews are positive against 87% of Chatbot Assistant's.

Bots ships an update every 5 days, Chatbot Assistant every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
