# Countdown vs Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown at 100% against Countdown's 62%. Countdown also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (103 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Countdown sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 103 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Countdown's written reviews are positive against 62% of Countdown's.

Countdown ships an update every 8 months, Countdown every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
