# BB vs Snitch

The clearest difference is rating: BB at 4.9 against Snitch's 4.0. BB also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 66%) and ratings volume (402 vs 77). Snitch's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BB sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Snitch sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BB holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BB has 402 ratings behind it against 77, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of BB's written reviews are positive against 66% of Snitch's.

BB ships an update every 3 weeks, Snitch every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
