# Interval Timer vs Interval

The clearest difference is ads: Interval at none against Interval Timer's shown. Interval also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Interval Timer's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.09 per month and Interval sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interval Timer ships an update monthly, Interval every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
