# Tableau Desktop Specialist vs AWS Cloud Practitioner

The clearest difference is ads: Tableau Desktop Specialist at none against AWS Cloud Practitioner's shown. Tableau Desktop Specialist also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). AWS Cloud Practitioner's advantage is ratings volume (602 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tableau Desktop Specialist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AWS Cloud Practitioner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tableau Desktop Specialist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AWS Cloud Practitioner has 602 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
