# The Doctor's Time Machine vs Ellipse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Doctor's Time Machine at none against Ellipse's 3. The Doctor's Time Machine also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Ellipse's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2K vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ellipse sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. The Doctor's Time Machine asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Doctor's Time Machine holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ellipse has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
