# Sincerely vs BettaShield

Sincerely and BettaShield both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of BettaShield's written reviews are positive against 40% of Sincerely's. Sincerely's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 3) and chart position (#113 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sincerely sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and BettaShield sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Sincerely against 4.7 for BettaShield. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sincerely has 36K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of Sincerely's written reviews are positive against 100% of BettaShield's.

Sincerely ships an update every 2 weeks, BettaShield every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
