# Play Designer vs RefMetrix

The clearest difference is rating: RefMetrix at 5.0 against Play Designer's 4.6. RefMetrix also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 91%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.5). Play Designer's advantage is ratings volume (774 vs 4) and chart position (#194 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Play Designer sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per 7 days and RefMetrix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RefMetrix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Play Designer has 774 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of Play Designer's written reviews are positive against 100% of RefMetrix's.
