# Immersion Reader vs Count Biki

The clearest difference is rating: Count Biki at 4.3 against Immersion Reader's 4.0. Immersion Reader's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (26 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Immersion Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Count Biki sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Count Biki holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Immersion Reader has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Immersion Reader's written reviews are positive against 50% of Count Biki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Immersion Reader ships an update every 6 days, Count Biki fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
