# VicTouch vs ShelterSync

The clearest difference is rating: ShelterSync at 5.0 against VicTouch's 3.7. ShelterSync also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). VicTouch's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShelterSync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VicTouch has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VicTouch ships an update monthly, ShelterSync every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
