The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BallDecide at none against Fresh Diary's 3. Fresh Diary's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and ratings volume (31 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fresh Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. BallDecide asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Fresh Diary against 5.0 for BallDecide.
