# Fresh Diary vs 墨呪

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fresh Diary at every 6 days against 墨呪's every 2 months. Fresh Diary also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fresh Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 墨呪 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fresh Diary ships an update every 6 days, 墨呪 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
