# LitCom vs Bookleap

The clearest difference is ads: LitCom at none against Bookleap's shown. Bookleap's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LitCom sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Bookleap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LitCom ships an update monthly, Bookleap fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
