# KeyLink vs Shortcuts Browser

The clearest difference is rating: KeyLink at 5.0 against Shortcuts Browser's 1.0. KeyLink also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). Shortcuts Browser's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KeyLink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeyLink has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

KeyLink ships an update weekly, Shortcuts Browser every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
