# MakroDigital Television vs Simpletv+

The clearest difference is update cadence: MakroDigital Television at fortnightly against Simpletv+'s every 5 months. MakroDigital Television also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Simpletv+'s advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MakroDigital Television holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simpletv+ has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MakroDigital Television ships an update fortnightly, Simpletv+ every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
