# Captain vs VCAP

The clearest difference is ads: Captain at none against VCAP's shown. Captain also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Captain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and VCAP sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
