# Cute pet vs Tapling

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tapling at none against Cute pet's 4. Cute pet's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 15) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cute pet sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Tapling asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cute pet holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cute pet has 4.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Cute pet's written reviews are positive against 73% of Tapling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cute pet ships an update every 6 weeks, Tapling every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
