# Temporary Contacts Pro vs ScrollShield

The clearest difference is update cadence: Temporary Contacts Pro at every 10 days against ScrollShield's every 2 months. Temporary Contacts Pro also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Temporary Contacts Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ScrollShield sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Temporary Contacts Pro ships an update every 10 days, ScrollShield every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
