# Vertizontal vs Filmatica

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vertizontal at every 2 days against Filmatica's monthly. Vertizontal also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Filmatica's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vertizontal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Filmatica sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Vertizontal against 4.9 for Filmatica. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Filmatica has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vertizontal ships an update every 2 days, Filmatica monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
