# iPetsCat vs PetKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: iPetsCat at monthly against PetKit's every 3 months. iPetsCat also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPetsCat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and PetKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iPetsCat ships an update monthly, PetKit every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
