# XIT Connect vs ExitLag

The clearest difference is rating: XIT Connect at 5.0 against ExitLag's 4.5. XIT Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12). ExitLag's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExitLag sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. XIT Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

XIT Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ExitLag has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

XIT Connect ships an update every 3 months, ExitLag every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
