# MixerBox BFF vs FriendMap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FriendMap at none against MixerBox BFF's 39. MixerBox BFF's advantage is ratings volume (7.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MixerBox BFF sells 34 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per 7 days. FriendMap asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MixerBox BFF against 5.0 for FriendMap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MixerBox BFF has 7.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MixerBox BFF ships an update every 6 days, FriendMap fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
