# Bontub vs CR

The clearest difference is update cadence: CR at every 2 weeks against Bontub's every 5 weeks. Bontub's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bontub ships an update every 5 weeks, CR every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
