# Fox Signals vs Smarters Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fox Signals at 100% against Smarters Pro's 15%. Smarters Pro's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (9K vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fox Signals sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Smarters Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smarters Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smarters Pro has 9K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fox Signals's written reviews are positive against 15% of Smarters Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fox Signals ships an update fortnightly, Smarters Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
