# Brown Sugar Babe vs Mod Style

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mod Style at every 2 days against Brown Sugar Babe's fortnightly. Mod Style also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Brown Sugar Babe's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Brown Sugar Babe against 5.0 for Mod Style. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brown Sugar Babe has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Brown Sugar Babe's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mod Style's.

Brown Sugar Babe ships an update fortnightly, Mod Style every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
