# Euchre.com vs Honu Guardian

The clearest difference is ads: Euchre.com at none against Honu Guardian's shown. Euchre.com also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Honu Guardian's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Euchre.com sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Honu Guardian sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Honu Guardian holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Euchre.com has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Euchre.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of Honu Guardian's.

Euchre.com ships an update every 3 weeks, Honu Guardian every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
