# 手書きノート vs Uni

The clearest difference is update cadence: Uni at every 5 days against 手書きノート's every 5 months. 手書きノート's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 手書きノート sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.49 per month and Uni sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

手書きノート ships an update every 5 months, Uni every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
