# Casini vs squiggle

The clearest difference is ads: Casini at none against squiggle's shown. squiggle's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Casini ships an update every 5 weeks, squiggle every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
