# CanGoal vs PomoFocus · Daily Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: PomoFocus · Daily Planner at every 3 days against CanGoal's every 11 days. CanGoal's advantage is ratings volume (73 vs 5) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CanGoal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PomoFocus · Daily Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for CanGoal against 4.8 for PomoFocus · Daily Planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CanGoal has 73 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of CanGoal's written reviews are positive against 100% of PomoFocus · Daily Planner's.

CanGoal ships an update every 11 days, PomoFocus · Daily Planner every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
